Director of Music

 

Nick currently teaches at one of London's leading independent schools. An expert teacher with 20 years experience in running various choirs and orchestras in the UK and abroad, Nick is a current Lead Teacher and Coach, supporting teachers to deliver exciting and engaging lessons, and secure the best outcomes for their students. His ensembles have performed at a number of iconic venues across London.

Nick has led various outreach music programmes at local primary schools and firmly believes in cultivating an inclusive, fun and rewarding learning environment for all. A number of his older students have gone on to study Music at some of the country's finest higher education institutions including at conservatoire level.

 

Nick has undertaken various consulting work, in particular for GCSE NEA moderation, and is a current IB, A level and GCSE Examiner. Nick brings significant international teaching experience, relishing the opportunity to learn more about Music from other cultures, and seeks to incorporate this as much as possible to further his own songwriting.

All of our teachers have extensive experience working with young people. They are Enhanced DBS checked and all complete annual statutory safeguarding training -certificates are available upon request.
